How long do you typically work with families?

The length of service varies for each family. Service length is directly tied to the parent’s attendance and progress with services.

Does your service cost the family money?

No. We are a free service to families.

Who is eligible for your services?

Families who have an open case with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Where do you typically see the families?

We see families in their home.

Do you provide advocacy?

No. We do not provide advocacy but do provide reports to DCFS on each family’s progress with services.

Do you make recommendations about parenting rights?

No. We provide services to families through DCFS but we do not make recommendations on whether a parent should maintain their rights.
